Called “dynamic” by The New York Times, the Moscow Chamber Orchestra celebrates its 50th Anniversary in 2006. The brilliant American pianist/conductor Constantine Orbelian, appointed in 1991, has brought the Orchestra into a new era of international acclaim and he was awarded the title of Honored Artist of Russia by President Putin in 2004.
